Major: Political Science

Alyssa is a first-year undergraduate student at UNC Charlotte. She is dedicated to social justice through service and has completed legal internships such as a summer internship at DLA Piper, a leading global law firm. There she was immersed in corporate law and its varying opportunities. She assisted with several cases but was most struck by the pro bono efforts of the firm. She brought this experience into her role as Vice President of the Mock Trial and Moot Court club at her high school. At Charlotte, she hopes to further her involvement in the legal field and her creative writing efforts as she looks to continue publishing her pieces. At Charlotte, she excitedly seeks out opportunities for involvement and looks forward to growth.
