Dhairya Desai

Dhairya Desai graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Biology. During his time on campus, he was able to participate numerous research projects and travel abroad. In the summer of 2022, he worked with the Social Impact and Strategy team at Atrium Health, where he researched community-based partners. Dhairya also completed an international experience in Athens, Greece, where he shadowed surgeons and doctors. In the summer of 2023, he completed an REU program, where he conducted chemistry research on water purification through anion-exchange. His civic engagement project focuses on teaching the community how to deliver CPR in case of a cardiac arrest. Dhairya was also a part of many on-campus organizations such as Kids Are Scientists Too, South Asian Student Association, Habitat for Humanity and HOSA.
