DJ is majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Media and Technology, as well as minoring in French, Theatre, and Film. DJ has completed two LSP summer study abroad programs in San José, Costa Rica, and Stellenbosch, South Africa. He plans to go abroad again during the spring of 2024 to Cannes, France, to study French language and film, as well as attend the International Cannes Film Festival. DJ enjoys theatrical design and technology. He has worked as an electrician on every UNC Charlotte dance and theater main stage production during his time as a student here. He has also served as the lighting designer for multiple shows. He plans to continue exploring and working in the technical theater industry.
