Sylvia is majoring in Finance and International Business and minoring in Italian. Sylvia enjoys being an active participant on UNC Charlotte’s campus through her involvement with the Business Honors Program, Niner Guides, the Niner Times, and club sports. She spent the summer after her freshman year interning with Make-A-Wish, executing wishes and assisting with fundraising campaigns. During her third summer, Sylvia interned with Duke Energy’s financial forecasting and analysis team, where she gained experience in capital expenditure modeling and forecasting processes. Sylvia also spent a semester studying abroad in Verona, Italy strengthening her Italian skills and experiencing the joys of living abroad.
